This is one fun fully loaded RC4WD Gelande II Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser! There is five military type guys in this super scale truck! I love these tiny trucks! There is a lot of scale to start out with in these kits and then you can add some neat personally touches to give it that super scale look. I added some carpet dash and some padding to some of the seats. Hand painted all the knobs to make it a bit more real. This truck by itself is real cool. I knew it would be a bit top heavy cause of the Land Cruiser hard body, so to help counter act this a bit I added a lot of weight in the wheels. I am running a 55t motor and it sure seems to go where it wants now. It’s rolled over a few times, but it’s on some crazy wild angles. Over all it does really well for the kind of truck it is. It’s a fun kit to build. I really enjoy running these Dick Cepek Mud Country’s. They sure have a great scale look and they hold up well when your side hilling. Plus I love tires that are 4 inches or less to give you that super scale look and give you a challenge to drive it like your in it.
If your looking for one of these kits you can get one from RC4WD or even find it on Amazon. It’s called: RC4WD GELANDE II TRUCK KIT W/CRUISER BODY Set. There are some upgraded things on this truck. The tires are RC4WD Dick Cepek 1.9 Mud Country Scale Tires (pair) RC4Z-T0034. The bead locks are Boom Racing #BRW780902BK Venomous KRAIT 1.9 Aluminum Beadlock Wheels with +8mm Wideners (4) Black with Boom Racing #BRW780900C-01BK Scale M2 4.5mm Wheel Bolts Screw (20) KRAIT Beadlock Option Black. I did add several oz. of sticky wheel weights up front to help keep this truck hugging the rocks. Also upgraded the drive shafts with RC4WD Z-S0826 Steel Punisher Shaft V3 3.56-4.5 90.5-114.8mm.

A follow up video to my Wooden Bandsaw Mill Project video. In this video I take a detailed look at the blade guide design. Many bandsaw mills use the same “sandwich” and thrust guides found on vertical bandsaws. The roller guide is different because the side of the blade is only supported on one side and the thrust is taken care of by a flange at the back of the roller. Typically the roller is set to provide a slight bit of downward pressure on the blade.
